Summer School 2010
The annual British Aikido Federation summer school will be held at Chester university from Saturday 31 July to Friday 6 August 2010.  Please see the BAF website for further details (link to page on BAF site).  Could everyone who is intending to go to this event please submit the application form available on the summer school link as soon as possible.
As a result of this course, there will be no classes at the dojo on Friday 30 July, Saturday 31 July, Sunday 1 August, Wednesday 4 August, Friday 6 August and Saturday 7 August.  We will resume normal practise times with effect from Sunday 8 August 2010.

New Students
It has been decided that the regular Friday evening class at the dojo will become a beginners class with immediate effect.  That does not mean that regular, more advanced students cannot attend, in fact just the opposite.  All new starters with the dojo will be directed to visit us, initially, for the Friday evening class.  From now on this class will concentrate solely on basic movements and technique as required to attain 6th kyu.
New starters will, of course, be able to attend other classes but it is recommended that you initially train at this Friday class to improve your practise and ready yourself to train with more advanced students and perform more advanced and dynamic technique.
