The first BAF summer school for 3 years was held at Chester University between 7-12 August 2022.  It was fantastic to get together with everyone from different dojos and the training with Kanazawa sensei from Hombu Dojo and all the BAF senior instructors, was great.

We had success in the grading tests;

Sunny Raftery – 4th kyu

Mihail Petrov – 1st kyu

Denham Phipps – 1st dan

Wai Yeung – 1st dan

Max Kebe – 3rd dan

Congratulations to you all.  Kanazawa sensei pointed out things that we all need to work on, so let’s keep training regularly and improve our practice.
